Family owned and operated, The Happy Sailor Tattoo is a private studio established in 2022 by Tom and Jessicat in the heart of Southport, on the Gold Coast, QLD.
Tom and Jess both spent many years being professionally trained in two of Gold Coasts original and best tattoo studios. They have over 20 years combined experience in the industry, with tattoos that speak for themselves, you can rest assure you are in safe hands.
Offering all styles at reasonable prices, they are open to all your requests, from custom to flash, ultra fine line, traditional, japanese, mandala, floral, micro realism, coverups, sleeves and much more.
The studio is environmentally conscious and offers 100% vegan tattoos while using many other natural or organic products where possible during all procedures.
Welcoming everybody, this friendly, safe, clean and sterile studio, it is accessible by tram line and is only a 13 minute drive from Surfers Paradise. Bookings available by appointment only.

TATTOOS BY CHOM
Tom (Chom) started his apprenticeship in 2012 at one of Gold Coast busiest and first ever tattoo studios at Skin FX located in Surfers Paradise. He was lucky enough to learn under a Gold Coast legend Luke Braniff, this gave him the fundamentals and skills apprentices aren't lucky enough to learn today. He can tattoo all styles, from ultra fine line, to traditional Japanese large scale work, from sleeves, to coverups, American traditional, freehand work and many more. His super fast and clean line work speaks for itself, healing beautifully every-time. With years of knowledge, his attention to detail, an understanding nature, patience and kindness allows everyone in his care to have a great tattoo experience. JESSICAT TATTOOS
Jessicat started working in Gold Coasts first ever tattoo shop from 2011, always having a love for all things tattoos, she became their tattoo apprentice in 2016 and hasn't looked back.
Jessicat was blessed to learn by tattooers who had been tattooing all over the world for many years, one being Quail (who you can find at 383 now) has been tattooing since 1993 and specialises in fine line, this valuable knowledge has shaped her into the precisionist tattooer she is today.
Jessicat has a warm, welcoming, bubbly personality that put hers customers at ease, whether it's their first tattoo or a full leg or arm sleeve, she will take the time with everyone to ensure you leave with your dream tattoo.
Her favourite styles are, fine line, black and grey, floral, mandala, all animals, cartoon/amine, black work, traditional and Japanese, however she can do all styles including large colour work, micro realism and much more.
Jessicat's goal has always been about creating the perfect tattoo for each individual customer in a comfortable, safe space, whilst always ensuring everyone also leaves with the perfect tattoo experience.
